Catering Hints
Call early. We operate on a first come, first served
basis. This means that unless you are the first one to call for
delivery on a particular day, we may not be able to give you the time you
want. We do our best to get as close as possible to that time.
We schedule deliveries based on when you are planning to eat,
your location, and the location of the deliveries that were called in
before yours. The more deliveries that were called in before yours, the
more difficult it is to schedule your delivery time.
Allow no less than a 15 minute margin for your delivery time. If you
want to eat at 11:30, delivery should be scheduled for 11:15 or earlier
(lunch arriving at your premises is much better than late). We generally
arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time and we do our best to call if we know we will
arrive after your scheduled time.
Regular lunch delivery is Monday
through Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This is for orders that you
are actually going to eat when we deliver it. If you are having it
delivered so that you can eat it that night, ask for "end of
route". All other deliveries are
subject to additional fees, availability and minimum ordering
requirements. Set up of your order is available for an additional
charge.
Several factors are out of our control and yours. These include
weather, traffic, construction, etc. We do our best to overcome these
difficulties, however, safety is our overriding concern and we will not
risk lives or property for your delivery.
Saturday catering is available on
24 hour notice. Buffet style for 20 or more people, boxed lunches
for 40 or more people may be picked up at our Richardson location on
Saturday mornings. Special arrangements can be made for delivery of
large orders. All others are for pick-up only.
Catering is where you order for
the group. That means you select one menu item and order it for the
entire group. If you pass our menu around and have everybody select
what they want, that is no longer catering, rather, it is a restaurant
delivery service for which we charge $2 extra per box. For hot food,
individual orders are not accepted.
Tipping is not required, but it is appreciated.
Orders may be cancelled at no
charge by the person who placed the order until 5 p.m. the preceding
day. Hot food orders and late cancellations carry cancellation charges.
